Pixlr - Pixlr is a basic photo editing application, which is really simple and allows you to touch up your images online.

You can easily upload your photos online, edit and work according to your preference with the help of Pixlr. With Pixlr, you need not worry about privacy too as images are removed five minutes after the uploading of the original image although changes whatever you had made to your image will remain on the screen for your use.
Pixlr mentions, that they are targeting non-professionals, who are seeking only basic image editing features for the use of their photo in blogs, social networks like Facebook, Orkut, image sites like Flikr and Picassa, still it is being used by new users as well as professionals.

Picnik - Picnik makes your photo editing a real fun in an easy way. It fixes your photo in just one click. It features tons of special effects, from artsy to fun… basketfuls of shapes from handpicked designers and awesome fonts and top-quality type tool.

If you want a little more, premium version of Picnik is also available for $24.95 a year! But I don’t know if you really need it.

Improve your image - Photo editor enhances the image clarity by optimizing the image effects so that you would not have the need to touch-up your pictures while you are sharing them but there is a limitation to this online editor, at present it only supports JPEG images and for other image formats you need to look for some other editor.
