Modu, future of mobile phones… garnish it, to your taste

As touted by the inventors Modu is, “future of mobile phones”, don’t read it as "another pre-launch marketing gimmick", the idea is really great and perfectly fits our requirements i.e. "for phones pay as you go”.
Essence of the Modu concept is, "Get yourself a simple and small mobile for storing data and making calls and pick some jackets as per your requirement and it will turn your mobile into everything from a simple MP3 player to a latest style statement.

No more a concept, Modu phone is launched in real

Developers have chosen Israel as the first country to introduce Modu phone and Modu jackets in partnership with Israel telecom major Cellcom Israel, it seems Modu wants to play first on home turf and post that it will be launched in Europe, Southeast Asia and South America, when Modu will expand its product line, later this year.
Dov Moran, CEO and founder of Modu, commented, "The initial launch is a milestone in Modu's development. The decision to introduce Modu in our home country of Israel and specifically with Cellcom Israel, the largest cellular operator in Israel is of great significance to us. The launch in Israel is the first among others planned for later this year in other countries.”
